Call for papers: Nordic Arts & Health Research Network meeting on 24-25 October 2023, Espoo, Finland

The Nordic Arts & Health Research Network organises their next network meeting on 24-25 October in Hanaholmen, Espoo, Finland. The theme for the network meeting is Professionalism in the field of arts, health and wellbeing. Meeting is hosted by Turku University of Applied Sciences.

We warmly welcome all network members to participate in two exciting days with presentations, workshops and networking opportunities together with your Nordic Arts and Health colleagues.

CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS

The call for papers is now open (deadline: 10 September 2023). You are invited to submit contributions on “Professionalism in the field of arts, health and wellbeing”, including but not limited to the following topics:

  • Artists working in the social and healthcare sectors
  • Multiprofessional collaboration
  • What does it entail to be an arts & health professional
  • Key competences of arts & health professionals
  • Education within the field of arts, health and wellbeing
  • Professional ethics

 

Types of contributions:

Paper (15 min presentation followed by 5 min for discussion)
Workshop (max. 45 min)

 

Submission:

Abstracts should contain the name of the presenter(s), affiliation, contact information, type of contribution, title of the presentation, aims and key findings/reflections/topics explored. Please submit an abstract of your planned contribution with a maximum of 250 words to Liisa Laitinen (liisa.laitinen@turkuamk.fi) by 10 September 2023.

 

About the venue:

The network meeting will take place at the Swedish-Finnish Cultural Centre Hanaholmen in the Finnish archipelago (Hanasaarenranta 5, 02100 Espoo).
